What to have ready

These documents help us review your claim quickly:

  • The policy declarations page and the appraisal clause
  • The claim number and date of loss
  • The insurance company's estimate
  • Your contractor's or public adjuster's estimate
  • Photos of the damage
  • Any letters about the claim, including a demand for appraisal

If appraisal has already been demanded, contact us right away. Policies often give each side a short deadline, commonly 20 days, to name an appraiser.
